Vocational Elder // Lead Pastor
Jeremy spent the latter half of his childhood in Mansfield where he attended Ontario High School. After graduating, he attended The Ohio State University and obtained a bachelor's in education; however, sensing God's call on his life to minister the Word, he did not pursue a career in teaching. Instead, he moved to Louisville, Kentucky where he attended The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue pastoral ministry.
While in seminary, Jeremy accepted a call to Grace Crossing Church in Louisville where he pastored for five years before accepting a position at Westwood Alliance Church in June of 2012. Jeremy is married to his wife Jill and they have two children (Adalyn and Gradyn). Interests include reading, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, and all things football.

Janie and I have been in ministry since 1974. Our work began in Indiana when I was still single. We were both born and raised in Mansfield. Westwood was Jane'shome church and First Alliance was mine. I attended Fort Wayne Bible college (Taylor University later) and Huntington College for some grad study. Westwood is our fifth church. We have been here for over 22 years. I have had the privilege of marrying and dedicating the children of those I first knew as children.
My great love has always been the study of God's Word. I have continued to read 2 or 3 books a week for most of my ministry. I have also enjoyed preaching through many books of the Bible both Old and New Testament. I have also watched with interest the church's response to a changing culture. My desire as I enter the golden years of my life is to faithfully apply God's word to a new generation facing the challenges of a post-Christian culture, what Francis Schaeffer called "Death in the City".

Originally from the Mount Vernon area (Centerburg, the geographical center of Ohio, to be exact), Luke became connected with Mansfield by attending Mansfield Christian School. Moving to the area in 2013, Luke began attending Westwood and soon became involved with the church’s music. He accepted a position at the church in January 2014. Luke holds a bachelor's degree in Ministry leadership from Moody Bible Institute.
Some of his favorite things in life include music (surprise), books (and libraries and bookstores), tv, gluten-free pizza, coffee and tea, and the nobler sports of football and basketball.
