Mission Statement

“To know Him and to make Him known.”

"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20).

Core values

  • We strive to glorify God in all we say and do. He is both the object and source of our love and joy.
  • We desire to exalt the glory of God through Christ-centered worship that is authentic and engages heart, soul, and mind.
  • We long to honor and please Christ with our adoration and obedience.
  • We endeavor to instill in our people a growing hunger to increase in the knowledge of God and His greatness, for only in Him do we find the satisfaction that our souls desire.

  • We unashamedly preach, teach, sing and glory in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • The cross (Christ’s substitutionary death and vicarious sacrifice) is central to both our salvation and sanctification (growth in Christ).

  • We desire our members to serve God out of hearts full of faith in and gratitude for the grace of God revealed in the gospel.

  • We are a family affirming, multi-generational church that seeks to teach and equip every generation to be faithful to Christ.

  • We desire to foster healthy Christian marriages and families.

  • We are committed to training future generations to be theologically informed and equipped to live for the glory of Christ.

  • It is our conviction that the Bible must be central in all that we do and teach.

  • The Word is our final and ultimate governing authority in faith and practice, duty and doctrine.

  • We preach and teach both systematically and expositionally.

  • We are passionately committed to biblical and theological study, because of the integral role the Bible plays in our spiritual growth and life.

  • We believe that commitment to the body is intimately linked with commitment to the Head of the body, namely, Jesus Christ (i.e., If you love Christ, you must love the church).

  • We can say with Paul that we strive to bring every member of the body into “complete maturity in Christ.”

  • We desire each member to be trained and equipped to use their spiritual gifts for the building up of the body of Christ.

  • We work to cultivate deep, healthy, growing, authentic, and abiding relationships within the church through the practice of Christian fellowship (one-on-one discipleship, small groups, Sunday School, etc.).

  • We endeavor to meet both the spiritual and physical needs of our church family.

6. The World

  • We are committed to bringing the gospel across the street and throughout the world.

  • We devote time, money, and energy for the worldwide cause of Christian missions.

  • We are committed to exposing our people to the lives and ministries of those who give themselves to the work of missions at home and overseas, and informing them of the great need to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

7. Prayer

  • We recognize that without God’s empowerment we are unable to live for his glory.

  • We endeavor to keep prayer central in our life and ministry as a church.

  • We seek to cultivate in our people a hunger for God’s presence.
